Post a link to the thread. And that should be that. 2 days of work, and a now confirmed bug. If it helps, here's the links to the HijackThis and Process Explorer logs: HijackThis Log: http://hjt.sfhanswers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26433 Process Explorer Log:http://hjt.sfhanswers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26434 It should have a simple fix, if and when it's found. As a result, I've added Zone Alarm to the list of known possible solutions in my \"I can't find it, so uTorrent crashes RTFM\" section. IMHO, Zone Alarm is a better solution anyway, and usually fixes the issue for me.
First up, there have been 2 replies to the forum mentioned above and one comment (#1). 1. #1 replies: It turns out the answer was right there in the HijackThis logs already: \"I currently run with Zone Alarm. I have had torrents crash before under the Zone Alarm process. usually it's a bigger torrent.\" So, Zone Alarm kills the torrent, even though \"smaller torrents\" work fine (at least for me). But that explains why I didn't see a solution here. Zone Alarm is fair game, but of course these things are fairly rare. That said, closing down Zone Alarm should be a simple fix, and if it doesn't work, then I can see it as the hub of the problem. If you're Zone Alarming with this torrent, could you post the log? 7211a4ac4a
