Stay the course Mr Rose, keep Mr Perry, hire Mr Atkinson and continue to build the team through the draft. Stargazing and chasing after stars are futile. Build the team by drafting young players with the attributes of stars and have a competent development organization to ensure development of the young players, and the Knicks will have a true championship and self sustaining team in the next three years. Ignore the mindless chattering of the fans that wants quick fixes with acquisition of Stars and continue to draft wisely and make trades only when it is advantageous for the Knicks.

This season goal is to continue developing the young players and establishing an identity as a stellar defensive team. Since we're not going to the championship or possible win 50 games this season, the priority must be on giving the young players quality playing time. Thus, the staring five should be: Robinson, Randle, Knox, Barrett, and Ntilikna. Frank and RJ in the backcourt because of their defense and length, and RJ's capability as a scorer. Kevin as small forward because of his shooting ability. Randle as power forward because he is our best complete player as a big. Mitch as center because of his ability to protect the rim and challenge perimeter shooters. Our second unit should be: Gibson, Portis, Morris, Dotson, and Trier. DSJ, Iggy should spell relief at the point and small forward respectively. The rest of players should be on the practice squad or alternate to the G-League (especially the young players). With this lineup emphasis should be on running offensive plays for Randle, Knox and RJ to ensure their future stardom. This goal will progressively lead to a championship calibre team within the next three years. Let's Go Knicks! Make it happen.

The 2019-20 Knicks season success depends on Frank and Coach Fit'z working in unison. And what I saw after Frank's two pre-FIBA Tournament games is an indicator for future success. Frank played a superb role as a playmaker on a fundamentally sound basketball team. His role even though limited minutes wise was illuminating. He got the ball to the scorers as early as possible. He ran screen and roll, attack screens hard and drive and dish to scorers. He pressured and disrupted the opposing team point guard from initiating their offense. He did not score many points because on the team he is a facilitator and not a primary or secondary scorer. Though he can score when needed to. In summary, when Frank is surrounded with talented players, and a coach who trust his capabilities, he is the perfect facilitator to run team basketball to perfection. Is Fit'z the coach to implement a system to reflect team ball. He has the players this season. Is he going to give Frank the keys and let him run the team like he did with Mudiah. If not then his coaching abilities will be questioned. This year Coach you are on the clock. Use what you got to get what you want wisely. A 35-42 wins season will definitely warrantee great coaching. Your success, the team and Frank's are all tied in as one. Let's Go Knicks!

In Trades and Free Agency
Now that the lottery is over and we have the #3 pick, let's stay the course and build our own star calibre players and stop thirsting over other teams stars. Pick RJ Barrett at #3, do our due deligent in the scouting department, use our late second round pick, in addition, to buying a late first round pick or early second round pick and address our needs at the 3 and 4 position. Then wait for Free Agency to determine who really want to join our young core. When you build right they will come. If KD, AD, KYRIE, TOBIAS, BOOGIE, KLAY or KAWHLI wants to come then the Knicks will determine who to select. Perry's Knicks new culture is being built for sustainable success on the court as it is off the court (most valuable sport franchise). LET'S GO KNICKS!
